Passing through on our way to California. The town and Route 66 are pretty desolate. Even more so on a SuperBowl Sunday. We were directed to Las Chaparritas as one of the few places open. Happy we stumbled in. Extensive menu, large space, clean bathrooms; and most important nice people working and good food. We had the birria quesadillas and tres leches cake. Everything was great. They've been open since 2020, and we wish them big success.

Great service! The food was very good. Cute downtown location. Bathrooms were clean and kid friendly. The kids cheese quesadilla was spot on for our 3 year old and my husband loved his birria tacos. Very good rice and beans too. The cheese dip was perfect for our daughter as it wasn't too spicy.

The food is fresh, authentic and worth the couple of miles off the I-40 to eat! Our waitress was so sweet and kept checking on us. Don't be expecting a big fancy restaurant because it is not however it was clean and very friendly.

Casual restaurant. Good food and our server Maria was friendly. Fast service. If you're headed down the 40, you should check it out.

Great! Very friendly service, excellent portion sizes and price. Their green sauce is delicious! You can also order everything a la carte if you don't want the rice and beans.

Chips were stele, not chrispy. Seem old. The salsa was really good. They have 3 different salsas, we liked the green hot. Nice kick. I ordered a burrito and a quesabirria. Food is really good. Made up for the tostadas. I'll come back here again.
